Dani Pedrosa (No. 26 Repsol Honda Team RC213V) won the San Marino MotoGP on Sunday, yet another contentious race with much grumbling going on afterward. Pedrosa charged from eight on the grid to become MotoGP's eighth different race winner in a row. Valentino Rossi (No. 46 Movistar Yamaha MotoGP YZR-M1) and teammate Jorge Lorenzo (No. 99 Movistar Yamaha MotoGP YZR-M1) completed the podium. JD Classics took two wins at the legendary Goodwood Revival, including a win in the iconic RAC TT Celebration race, with Chris Ward and Gordon Shedden sharing the driving in the No. 89 Jaguar E-Type Lightweight (above). Ward (No. 41 JD Classics Costin-Lister) also was victorious in the Sussex Trophy, marking two victories from two pole positions for the team. A major sponsor of the Revival for the second consecutive year, JD Classics had five cars (a Ford GT40, Cooper T33 and Austin Healey 100S were also part of the team's effort) competing and two on static display, including a Lamborghini Miura SV and the Le Mans Fiat Bartoletti transporter.

Edoardo Mortara (No. 48 Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline Castrol EDGE Audi RS 5 DTM) won the DTM race at the Nürburgring on Sunday. It was Mortara's third victory this season in the DTM’s 50th visit to the Nürburgring. It also marked the 50th triumph of Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline.

Corvette Racing and Chevrolet lead the GTLM class Manufacturer, Driver and Team points standings through nine races heading to the Circuit of The Americas and the Lone Star Le Mans this weekend, the 10^th round of this year’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Chevrolet owns a 17-point lead over Ford in the Manufacturer standings and can win its 11^th title in IMSA competition. No other manufacturer has won more GTLM races this season (five) nor in IMSA since the post-merger era began for sports car racing in 2014 (11). Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen will be in the No. 3 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Corvette C7.R; and Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner - the current GTLM Championship leaders - will be in the No. 4 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette C7.R. The WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event is part of a doubleheader that also includes the FIA World Endurance Championship.
