Brad Keselowski (No. 2 team Penske Miller Lite Ford Fusion) won Sunday’s MyAFibStory.com 400 at the 1.5-mile Chicagoland Speedway by 1.759 seconds over Jeff Gordon (No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet SS). It was Keselowski's fifth race win of the season and the fifteenth of his career. Kyle Larson (No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Target Chevrolet SS) finished third in another sensational drive for the emerging young star. Motorcycle racer and team owner, Valerie Thompson, set her 7th land speed record on her CTEK sponsored BMW S 1000 RR during the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association’s 28th Annual World of Speed event September 6-9 at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Wendover, Utah. Six out of eight of Thompson’s passes were over 200 mph. On her last run of the event, Thompson recorded her best speed on the salt with a first pass at 209.85 mph and a return run of 207.71 mph, setting a new MPS-G 1000 record at 208.81 mph. The new record earned Thompson lifetime membership in the prestigious Red Hat Club, recognizing her 200+ mph performance. “I've wanted the 200 MPH Club Red Hat since I started racing on the salt, so it’s an awesome achievement for me. I can't thank my team enough for their outstanding fight to the end. Ray Garcia did an incredible job of making all the right calls on the bike’s set up. Now I can focus on setting more records and going faster with the Red Hat,” added an ecstatic Thompson.

Johnny O'Connell (No. 3 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe) won his third consecutive Pirelli World Challenge GT Series driver championship with a seventh-place finish during the final Pirelli World Challenge Series race of the season at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, last Saturday. Teammate Andy Pilgrim (No. 8 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe) finished third, earning Cadillac its third consecutive Manufacturers Championship. Lawson Aschenbach (No. 1 Blackdog Speed Shop Chevrolet Camaro) finished second in the GTS class to win the Pirelli GTS World Championship for the second year in a row.

The Jaguar D-type, a winner of the Le Mans 24-hours three years in a row in the 1950s, was celebrated on Saturday at the Goodwood Revival. Thirty examples of Malcolm Sayer’s memorable design took part in the largest gathering of such cars in history. Included were the former works car that won at Le Mans in 1955, driven by Mike Hawthorn and Ivor Bueb, and the ex-Ecurie Ecosse victor in 1957, a year in which D-types took five of the top six places at the French endurance classic.

Sir Jackie Stewart was honored today as the Goodwood Revival paid tribute to the three-time Formula 1 World Champion. With other motorsport luminaries in attendance, such as Sir Stirling Moss and John Surtees, 24 cars from the driver's memorable career lined up on the grid. Sir Jackie himself led the parade away in Tyrrell 006, the Ford Cosworth-engined car in which he captured the 1973 title.

Bentley won its first-ever motorsport victory outside of Europe over the weekend. Guy Smith (No. 88 Dyson Racing Team Bentley/Bentley Continental GT3) delivered the fastest lap in morning practice, pole position in the afternoon and a race win in the evening at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah in the penultimate race of the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge championship. Bentley teammate Butch Leitzinger (No. 08 Dyson Racing Team Bentley/Bentley Continental GT3) joined Smith on the podium by finishing third.

The Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross team will debut the Global Rallycross Beetle in the seventh and eighth rounds of the 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship at the Port of Los Angeles this weekend. The new machine will be the focus of the team’s efforts for the 2015 GRC season. Scott Speed (No. 77 7UP Volkswagen Rallycross Beetle) and Tanner Foust (No. 34 Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen Rallycross Beetle) will lead the team's efforts in the only double-header weekend on the 2014 season calendar.

It's part of a rare sports car racing doubleheader, with an FIA WEC race - the Six Hours of Circuit of The Americas - televised live starting at 6 p.m. (EDT), also on FOX Sports 2.
