Bucky Lasek and Sverre Isachsen will lead the Subaru Rally Team USA's Rallycross efforts in 2015. Both drivers have renewed multi-year contracts with Subaru and will compete in the Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship and Summer X Games. Last year, the duo led Subaru to their most successful season to date in the burgeoning series, earning a combined five podiums including an X Games Silver Medal by Lasek and victory at the Seattle, WA, round for Isachsen. Action sports icon Travis Pastrana will join the team at select rally and Rallycross events in 2015. Pastrana’s schedule will be announced at a later date.

Katsumasa Chiyo, Wolfgang Reip and Florian Strauss (No. 35 NISMO
Athlete Global Team Nissan GT-R GT3) won the 2015 Bathurst 12 Hour at Mount Panorama in Australia last weekend. Japanese star Chiyo passed two cars on the penultimate lap to secure the win. L. Vanthoor/M. Mapelli/M. Winkelhock (No. 15 Phoenix Racing Audi R8-LMS Ultra) finished second, and the No. 97 Craft Bamboo Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 driven by S. Mucke/A. MacDowell/D. O’Young finished third.

Guy Smith, Steven Kane and Matt Bell (No. 10 Bentley Continental GT3) finished fourth in the Bathurst 12 Hour.

The Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross team will field two Beetle GRC race cars designed and engineered specifically for the 2015 Red Bull Global Rallycross series. The Beetle GRC is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder TSI® turbocharged and intercooled 544 HP engine, which is mated to a sequential six-speed transmission and a fixed-ratio all-wheel-drive system. The Beetle GRC is expected to reach 60 mph from rest in 2.1 seconds. Scott Speed will be returning to the team after recording three victories in the 2014 season and earning third in the 2014 driver’s championship. He will be joined by Tanner Foust who will again be racing the No. 34 Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen Beetle GRC.
